Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Performs visual and dimensional checks on materials, assemblies, tube details, components and finished products.

Plans, lay out, fabricate, assembles, install, salvage parts from assemblies and repair rigid and/or flexible tube assemblies, fixtures, equipment, and products by performing the following duties.

Perform various functions by hand and utilizes hand tools to prepare hose for assembly including removing rubber to buff back ends for fittings, connect fittings to hose, apply RTV, and other assembly preparations

Sets up and operates abrasive, squaring, deburring, and sizing equipment such as swager or crimper.

Lifts, positions, and removes work pieces from machines.

Fabrication Mechanic - Assembler

to join the team.  This position involves the fabrication of metal tubing both rigid and flexible, for a multitude of operations, by cutting, grinding, forming, de-burring, cleaning, swaging, and polishing according to specifications, for use in hydraulic fuel, pneumatic, waste and exhaust installations. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and with reasonable accommodation when necessary.
