Requirements

Preference given to students enrolled full-time in secondary or post-secondary programs for the next academic year

Strong public relations and communication skills is an asset

Ability to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays

Physically capable of performing manual labour and adaptable to all weather conditions

Experience in beach / park operations, horticulture, or landscaping is an asset

Strong knowledge of the Town of Wasaga Beach is an asset

Responsibilities

As Parks Labourer(s), you will assist in maintaining parks, beachfront, sports fields, cemeteries, trails, and facilities, while also supporting scheduled summer special events. Duties include:

Operating pickup trucks and trailers

Using riding and push mowers, trimmers, and other garden maintenance equipment

Performing landscaping and horticultural tasks

Supporting beautification projects and event setups
