Project Engineer - Automotive

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering (or a closely related technical field).

Industry Experience:

Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in automotive product engineering or design, with a proven track record of managing projects with OEMs or Tier 1/2 suppliers.

Domain Expertise:

Specialized knowledge in driveline systems, axles, or powertrain components, with specific exposure to electrified vehicle applications (BEV/HEV/PHEV).

As a Product Engineer, you will lead the technical development and integration of complex automotive systems. You are the primary point of contact for the design, validation, and manufacturing feasibility of components, ensuring they meet rigorous performance standards for both traditional and electrified vehicle platforms.

Key Responsibilities

System Development:

Lead the engineering lifecycle of engine, transmission, driveline, or axle systems, including specialized applications for BEV, HEV, and PHEV architectures.

Design & Validation Oversight:

Manage product engineering projects from concept to SOP (Start of Production), coordinating with OEM and Tier 1/2 suppliers to ensure design intent is maintained.
