Senior Dynamics Test Technician

5+ years of hands-on professional experience in environmental or dynamic testing.

Hands-on expertise operating and programming ED shaker tables for vibration and shock testing.

Proficiency with data acquisition (DAQ) systems and test control software; familiarity with VR software or similar dynamic testing platforms.

Strong fundamental knowledge of accelerometers and modal hammers.

Familiarity with DAQ system setup and collection

Familiarity with industry-standard environmental qualification specifications (e.g., MIL-STD-810, TRCA DO-160, SMC-S-016)

In this role, you will be responsible for setup, operation, and maintenance of advanced dynamic environmental testing.

You will play a critical part in executing complex dynamic tests and modal surveys, collecting crucial data that informs engineering decisions and validates product designs.

Prepare, setup, and execute a variety of dynamic tests on items ranging from small integrated electronics to large structures.

Operate, program, and maintain state-of-the-art ED shaker tables.

Assist in or perform modal surveys to identify natural frequencies, mode shapes, and damping characteristics of structures and systems.
