High school dimploma or equivalent

Knowledge of IPC workmanship standards, quality control methodologies, and good manufacturing practices preferred

Ability to interpret engineering drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), assembly instructions, inspection criteria, and quality standards

High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in inspection, documentation, and compliance activities

Responsibilities

At XP Power's High Bridge, New Jersey facility, we design and manufacture high-voltage and high-power power conversion solutions that are used in critical applications across the semiconductor manufacturing, healthcare, and industrial technology sectors.

Our products help customers safely and reliably convert and control electrical power in some of the world's most demanding equipment and systems.  The Quality Control Inspector plays a vital role in ensuring that every component, assembly, and finished product meets XP Power's quality and reliability standards.

By inspecting incoming materials, in-process assemblies, and completed products before shipment, this position helps prevent defects, supports customer satisfaction, and ensures that products perform safely and reliably in critical end-use applications.  In this role, you will be inspecting:

Incoming materials (PC boards, sheet metal, etc.)

PC board and harness assemblies (many different types)

Final assemblies (assembled power supplies)
