HIM Specialist

Ability to operate general office equipment to include personal computer, CD burner, scanner, printer, telephone, fax and copy machine.

Troubleshoot computer or system failures with IT to resolve downtime situations timely

Responsible for safeguarding patient records and ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards.

High school graduate with knowledge of medical terminology

Effective maintenance and control of Master Patient Index (MPI) file.

Health Information Management preferred.
