At least three (3) months of experience in a fine-dining or high-volume environment at a high-end restaurant, resort, or private club.

Knowledge of HACCP & local food safety standards; possesses or can obtain State Food Safety Certificate.

Knowledgeable of food and beverage operations.

Makena is seeking a Food Runner to join the Food and Beverage Service Department.

The Food Runner is responsible for pickup and delivery of food and beverage items to appropriate table in a timely manner, as well as persistently clearing plates, glassware and silverware throughout service.

Delivery of food items to the guest table, taking care to deliver each dish to the proper seat.

Clear away anything from the table that isn’t being used and check water glass levels, refill as needed.

Replace any silverware as needed throughout service.

Check surrounding areas of the restaurant for anything that needs to be cleared.
