Prepare cost estimates from first principles based on defined scope of work.
Establish a representative schedule upon which the cost estimate is assembled
Interact with other departments and external suppliers to obtain material / equipment prices and analyze comparative pricing and work collaboratively with other departments support the commitments necessary for project success at the tendering phase.
Interact with operations personnel to establish project methodology for tendered work and ensure timelines can be executed safely and effectively
Prioritize & plan tender process to ensure bid is submitted correctly and on time.
Compensation & Benefits
$75,000.00 - $125,000.00

Responsibilities
The Mining Estimator EIT is responsible for the development of detailed multi-disciplinary capital cost estimates, conceptual estimates, defined project estimates, accompanying schedules and project methodologies for engineering and tendered contracts
Attend site visits and collect the required information in order to carry out estimates
