Environmental Principal Engineer

BS degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering

PE license registration in Pennsylvania.

PE licenses in additional states desired.

15+ years of experience in engineering design with a focus on water and/or wastewater systems.

Proven experience in managing engineering project and project managers as well as developing client relationships.

Demonstrated ability to lead and oversee projects, including wastewater treatment systems, pump stations, water systems and sewer collection systems, funding, permitting, and planning reports.

Assist in the establishment, management, and growth of a new branch office with division and regional support.

Help recruit, build, and manage a team of technical staff to support office operations and project execution.

Assist with the development and implementation of strategies for recruiting new clients, leveraging existing relationships and expanding business opportunities supporting the development of small to large design projects from inception to completion.

Lead project management efforts for water and wastewater engineering projects, including sewer comprehensive plans, engineering reports, and design for water/wastewater treatment, collection, distribution, water modeling, and pump stations.

Supporting the work of others and mentoring junior-level engineers & design/drafting technical staff.

Prepare detailed engineering reports, construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
