Completing a Degree or Diploma in UX Product, Interaction Design, User experience, Product design, Industrial design, Graphic design, HCI, or similar.
Proficient in product design software such as: Figma, Figjam, Lucidchart, usertesting.com
Understanding and working knowledge of design principles and visual dynamics.
Understanding and working knowledge of behavioral sciences, research methods and data analysis.
Responsibilities
As a Product Design Intern your key area of responsibility will be assisting with design, interaction and user experience efforts across Geotab’s applications. This will involve conducting desk research, participating in user testing and validation, creation of wireframes, mockups and generally covering the entire spectrum of the design process. You will need to work closely with a Lead Designer, product managers and developers. This is a great learning opportunity to get real world experience for building products with massive scale and impact.
To be successful in this role you will need to be a strong collaborator, clear communicator both written and verbally, harbor great ambition and initiative, with an intense passion for the craft of design and deep empathy for human problems. Solving problems for real people excites you and you want to build products that make the world safer and better for all.
12 month work-term beginning May 2026.
Full-time, paid internship: Monday - Friday, 37.5hrs/week.
