Requirements
Ability to lawfully access information and technology that is subject to US export controls.
5+ years of NDE experience in aerospace or defense.
Master’s degree or doctorate in with specialization in nondestructive inspection methods.
Multiple level II or III certifications across radiographic testing (RT), ultrasonic testing (UT), eddy current testing (ET), penetrant (PT), or other advanced techniques.
Knowledge of aerospace and defense requirements including industry standards such as AMS, ASTM, MIL, and AWS specifications.
Experience with inspection of additive manufacturing, castings, welding, composites, or structural bonds.

Staff NDE Engineer / E06: $163,270 - $224,500
Principal NDE Engineer / E07: $188,590 - $259,310

Responsibilities
Develop inspection methods and procedures for advanced manufacturing methods including additive manufacturing and joining.
Collaborate with design and manufacturing engineers to establish inspection plans and implement design for inspectability best practices.
Procure and commission inspection equipment as needed for production.
Interface with customers and government agencies on inspection of additive manufactured hardware.
Perform third party audits of nondestructive testing vendors.
