The Oncology Support Advocate works closely with our Oncology Nurse Navigators to assist members going through a cancer journey. This critical member of the Cancer support team plays a significant role in providing a concierge-level experience to members by offering individualized assistance to patients, families, and caregivers to help overcome healthcare system barriers. Oncology Support Advocates play a critical role in the success of the business by developing high-quality relationships and creating memorable experiences for our members. They provide education and resources to facilitate and support informed decision making, timely access to quality health and psychosocial care throughout all phases of the cancer journey.

Key activities in this role include: answering member questions, gathering medical records, helping to coordinate care with existing providers or second opinions, coordinating travel, educating/outreaching to new members who can benefit from the program, and checking in on the members experience.

Successful CAs will not only engage new members but will always look to go the extra mile from a service delivery perspective for all members navigating complexities of oncology. Commitment, high-energy, and passion about changing the way cancer patients and their caregivers experience cancer care are a must! Must have ability to operate in a fast-paced environment centered around customer excellence over all things.

Guide and support patients/families throughout the cancer and survivorship experience.
