Responsibilities
The Finance Manager (a one-year renewable term position) performs complex financial functions requiring advanced knowledge of university policies, external regulations, and financial systems.
This position is responsible for managing and analyzing the financial operations of the Prisons and Justice Initiative (PJI), including budgets, forecasts, grant compliance, and financial reporting.
The role conducts financial analyses and prepares recommendations to support strategic decision-making, ensure compliance, and improve financial processes.
The Finance Manager serves as the primary financial resource for PJI and represents the unit in coordination with university financial offices.
Managing and monitoring program/organizational budgets and financial activity.
Preparing financial analyses, forecasts, and reports for leadership.
