Locksmith

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) from an accredited institution required.

Associate degree (AA) preferred.

Four years related experience required.

Completion of job-related apprenticeship program preferred.

Completion of advanced job-related training programs preferred.

$44.61 per hour

$38.77 - $45.61

Installs repairs and services mechanical, electrical and computerized locking devices. Performs work in accordance with University standards and procedures for University buildings and properties

Reads and works from blueprints, drawings, or other instructions.

Plans assigned job, identifies materials and either installs or maintains related equipment.

Repairs door locks, padlocks, safe locks, and cabinet locks.
