Requirements

2+ years of experience in manufacturing systems, MES, industrial automation, manufacturing operations, or related areas.

Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) in a production environment.

Experience working with PLC systems such as

Siemens, Beckhoff, Mitsubishi, or similar platforms.

Experience working with manufacturing data and production reporting.

Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.

Responsibilities

Gotion is seeking a Manufacturing Systems Engineer (MES & Data) to join our Digitalization Team in Manteno, Illinois.

This role will focus on implementing, deploying, and supporting digital manufacturing solutions within our battery manufacturing operations.

The engineer will work closely with software developers, manufacturing engineers, controls engineers, and production teams to deploy MES systems, production data platforms, and factory digitalization initiatives.

The ideal candidate has experience with MES systems, manufacturing data, PLC integration, and production operations, and enjoys working directly on the factory floor to drive smart manufacturing initiatives.

Deploy and support MES systems, manufacturing applications, and digital platforms in production environments.

Collaborate with software development teams to implement and validate manufacturing solutions.
