Education:

Bachelor Degree and Ordained Minister

Licensure/Certification:

CPE preferred or Stephen Ministry certificate

Skills:

Recognize the autonomy and dignity of all Elders.

Conducts and/or provides leadership for worship services, memorial services, communion, recitation of rosary and arranges for consistent events of a “religious” nature.

Provides or arranges for spiritual guidance for all Residents.

Works closely with social worker to counsel or arrange for counseling for all Elders.

Visits hospitalized Elders.

Encourages local church relations to be maintained as much as possible by Elders.

Maintains contact with churches.
