Responsibilities
Overall Purpose and Objective of Position: This position operates equipment for the boiler, biodiesel, glycerin and lecithin process areas of a soybean crushing and biodiesel plant.
Primary function is to ensure that these processes are operated and controlled in a safe and efficient manner in compliance with government regulations and Company standards.
Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
Responds to equipment issues or alarms; investigates and initiates resolution.
Conducts quality control tests, enters data into the electronic database and operates the computer control system at the plant.
Performs inspection rounds; completes log readings; ensures compliance with Company safety rules and regulations by reporting safety, equipment, and operational issues.
