Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar
4+ years of experience in developing and maintaining vision systems in a manufacturing environment
Demonstrated experience developing vision system platforms (Cognex, Keyence, iRVision, Halcon) and programming languages (Python, C++, OpenCV)
Strong understanding of image processing algorithms, optics, and lighting principles
Hands-on experience with industrial automation systems including PLC / robot integration
Familiarity with advanced defect detection techniques, AI-based vision systems, and SPC methodologies

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Responsibilities
Develop and implement machine vision for automation systems, quality inspection, defect detection, and process monitoring
Specify, procure, validate, and sustain vision system components including cameras, lenses, lighting, controllers, and software
Oversee the installation, validation, and commissioning of vision systems in production environments across multiple product lines
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate high-precision inspection systems into production lines and automation systems
Lead efforts into RCCA on vision systems and process failures
Train production staff on the operation and maintenance of vision systems

The Manufacturing Automation team is responsible for the design, integration, and deployment of automated manufacturing systems across Anduril factories. As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to help define what production automation looks like for Anduril at a national scale.
