Quality Technician

Requirements

3+ years of related professional experience.

Technical degree or equivalent experience in Metrology, Manufacturing, Quality, or related fields.

Experience in dimensional inspection, FAI/PPAP, or industrial metrology.

Strong knowledge of GD&T, drawing interpretation, and technical specifications.

Proficiency with basic and advanced measurement instruments; CMM experience preferred.

Perform First Article Inspections (FAI/PPAP) according to drawings, technical specifications, customer requirements, and acceptance criteria.

Conduct dimensional and functional measurements using basic and advanced instruments such as calipers, micrometers, indicators, CMM, and optical comparators.

Verify availability, condition, and calibration status of all measurement instruments prior to use, following metrology procedures.

Document inspection results using approved formats, including FAI reports, dimensional layouts, checklists, and traceability records.

Identify deviations and nonconformities in first articles and immediately communicate findings to Engineering, Production, and Quality.

Interpret drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications accurately, providing support to operators and technicians when needed.
