Data Governance Analyst

4–6 years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, Business Intelligence, Data Quality, or related disciplines.

Understanding of data governance frameworks, metadata management, and data stewardship principles.

Experience documenting business definitions, data lineage, and data ownership.

Knowledge of data quality concepts and experience analyzing data quality issues.

Strong SQL skills for data validation and analysis.

Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong academic foundation, 4–6 years of hands-on experience in data governance or data management, and a passion for improving data quality, trust, and accessibility across the enterprise. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, data owners, data stewards, and technical teams to support enterprise data governance initiatives, maintain business glossaries and data catalogs, improve data quality, and help establish governance best practices.

Support enterprise data governance initiatives by partnering with business and technology stakeholders.

Assist in maintaining the enterprise business glossary, data catalog, and metadata repositories.

Collaborate with data owners and data stewards to define and document critical data elements, business definitions, and data lineage.

Monitor and analyze data quality metrics, identify issues, and coordinate remediation efforts.

Participate in data governance councils and working groups, documenting decisions and tracking action items.
