Director, Mobile Engineering

10+ years of professional software engineering experience, spanning both mobile and backend/server-side development.

5+ years leading engineering teams, with experience managing engineering managers and scaling organizations across multiple technical disciplines (mobile and backend).

Deep expertise in modern mobile development (Swift/SwiftUI and/or Kotlin/Jetpack Compose)

solid backend fundamentals — distributed systems, RESTful/GraphQL API design, databases, and service architecture.

Demonstrated experience defining architecture and technical standards at an organizational level — not just within a single discipline — and driving their adoption across teams.

Strong understanding of authentication, networking, offline synchronization, mobile security, and application performance, as well as backend scalability, reliability, and security practices.
