Georgetown University- Ralph Lauren Center for Cancer Prevention | Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center

The Ralph Lauren Center for Cancer Prevention is looking for a dynamic and creative Health Communications Specialist to support our mission in addressing four of the most prevalent types of cancer affecting underserved communities in DC: breast, colorectal, lung, and prostate cancers.

Working closely with researchers, community partners, and program staff, the specialist will translate technical and scientific information into easily digestible and accessible content for diverse audiences.

The role will oversee social media and digital outreach campaigns designed to raise awareness of emerging health issues and promote community engagement, ultimately contributing to efforts to reduce the cancer burden.

Design, author, and help distribute the quarterly newsletter, which focuses on cancer prevention, screening, and general health information.

Manage the center's WordPress website, ensuring timely updates, blog posts, and accurate content highlighting community outreach efforts, clinical trials, and cancer research.
