Minimum of 4+ years of hands-on experience in the field of DDC control systems for commercial buildings.
Hands on experience with BAS controls.
Experience with electronics and basic electrical circuits.
Knowledge of DDC Control Theory and Applications Knowledge of mechanical systems (e.g., RTU’s, AHU’s, VAV’s, VFD’s, Split Systems, Pumps, Motors, Boilers, Chillers and Cooling Towers).
Responsibilities
Performs preventative maintenance and diagnostics on building systems and components according to the service agreement terms.
Respond to customer service calls either on-site, remotely, or in an emergency situation.
These calls could involve any and more of the following: check indicated points of trouble and repair, analyze full system, test components, apply corrective actions to repair system, and pulling points lists and alarm reports.
Commissioning of Control and HVAC Systems.
Troubleshoot component and equipment problems.
Performs system checkout and assists in building systems startup for service installation projects.
