Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director of Development Operations and working closely with the Operations Manager for Membership, the Development Operations Assistant, Membership will support the day-to-day operations of the Membership department.
The Membership team enables the WGBH Educational Foundation to fulfill its public media mission by raising contributions from individuals for TV, radio, and digital programming, as well as for special projects at GBH, the Cape & Islands Radio Station (CAI), and New England Public Media (NEPM).
Primary responsibilities include cash management, gift processing and revenue allocation, report execution, support of email communications, and other data entry and hygiene projects as assigned.
Enter high volumes of daily donations (checks, credit cards, wire transfers) into CRM, ROI Solutions’ RevCRM.
Code gifts to allocate revenue appropriately and communicate information to Finance colleagues for accurate reconciliation efforts.
Manage matching gift portals and enter donations on corresponding accounts in our CRM.

The Development Division is responsible for raising funds from individuals and institutions. It plays a vital role in helping to finance broadcast, video, digital, and audio programs, including celebrated dramas, investigative journalism, documentaries, children’s media, podcasts, and other local and national programming in the public media system. This is a transformative period for GBH, as it navigates profound changes in its business model, driven by the changing media landscape and evolving sources of revenue. GBH is celebrating its 75th anniversary in 2026, and has just launched a comprehensive campaign that will position us solidly for the next chapter of our storied history as a local and national leader in public media.
The Operations team within the division plays a critical role in streamlining processes, leveraging technology, and providing essential support services that enable the department to effectively cultivate, solicit, and steward individuals and foundations supporting GBH.
