Requirements

Proven and demonstrable expertise in luxury and exclusive watches, with a strong understanding of brands, complications, condition, and valuation.

A minimum of 3 years of experience in the watch industry, such as auction houses, online marketplaces, high-end retail, horology, or as a professional collector.

A sharp commercial mindset - you understand how to develop sellers, scale sourcing, and drive pricing strategy.

Confidence and tact in communicating rejections or feedback to sellers.

A strong understanding of the exclusive market segment (€1,000+) and how to match supply with collector demand.

Solid computer skills, including proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, etc.) and the ability to work efficiently with online platforms and internal tools.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a candidate with deep domain expertise in modern watches — from entry-level luxury brands such as TAG Heuer and Longines to high-end timepieces by Rolex, Audemars Piguet, and Patek Philippe. Experience with vintage watches is a strong advantage.

In this role, your knowledge and experience will be essential in upholding the high standards of our marketplace. You have a keen understanding of what captivates collectors and watch enthusiasts, and you will apply that insight to evaluate exceptional timepieces, support the growth of the Watches category through strategic sourcing, foster seller excellence, and contribute valuable market insights.

You will assess lot titles, descriptions, and images, providing accurate and realistic valuations based on your in-depth expertise. When a submission does not meet our standards, you will handle rejections professionally and courteously, ensuring clear communication and maintaining trust with sellers. We are looking for seasoned professionals — such as curators, boutique sales managers, sourcing specialists, watchmakers, or passionate collectors — with a profound understanding of the watch market.

Lot Evaluation:

Review watch submissions, including descriptions and images, and provide accurate value estimates based on current market conditions.
