Requirements
Familiarity with severely and chronically mentally ill adults in a community setting.
Experience in DSM-V, trauma informed care, harm reduction techniques.
Must show demonstrated knowledge of Evidence Based Practices and/or the Recovery Model of treatment.
Must have demonstrated ability to manage and supervise professional and para-professional staff while handling multiple tasks and relating to diverse groups of clients.
Will not have direct reports and will collaborate with the program manager when a case manager is needing extra support.

Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Office of Diversion and Reentry (ODR) Program Manager and Lead Clinical Supervisor, the Mental Health Lead provides clinical supervision to case managers and other unlicensed staff.
The Mental Health Lead ensures sound clinical direction, management, and coordination of mental health, rehabilitation, case management, community outreach and medication support services.
Provide individual and group clinical support to case managers and other unlicensed staff in adherence with the BBS.
Assist with developing and implementing clinical training for ODR program.
Provide mental health guidance and support to the ODR teams including completion of any clinical documentation, progress notes, care plans, and/or assessments as needed.
Hold a small caseload of clients in addition to providing mental health support for team.

The Center enjoys broad-based community support as well as a sponsored relationship with its founders, the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet. St. Joseph Center serves approximately 6,000 individuals annually.
Brief Description of Principal Activities
Multifaceted intervention, prevention, and education services are carried out at four sites on the Westside of Los Angeles. St. Joseph Center’s integrated programs provide clients with concentrated and coordinated access to services according to the nature of their needs.
