Senior Mobile Software Engineer - BLE / Connectivity

7+ years of relevant industry experience in mobile development for Android and/or iOS.

Has built and shipped high-quality production mobile applications using either native or React Native frameworks.

3+ years of professional experience building BLE-enabled mobile applications to interface with hardware products.

Experience building and using observability tools, frameworks, and standards.

Strong leadership skills driving projects and working cross-functionally.

Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive independent work.

The mobile connectivity platform team owns the BLE implementation on all Samsara products. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team to build and own the platform on our mobile products: Samsara Driver and Samsara Fleet.

These products support our customers across their entire organization and power their most critical tasks, helping frontline workers and administrators be more efficient when they’re on the go. Over the next few years, we’ll be rapidly adding new unique experiences and products to our portfolio, which means that our mobile products will become even more critical and need to expand to support millions of users. You will be responsible for the end-to-end success of new products and features that delight our customers and further Samsara’s vision.

We use React Native, Typescript, Redux, and GraphQL for our mobile apps, Golang for our backend, and C and Golang for our firmware.
