Familiarity with the Town of Wasaga Beach and surrounding area, able to give directions, recommendations, provide resources and provide event information.

Enthusiastic, outgoing personality with excellent customer service and communication skills.

Knowledge of Wasaga Beach attractions, local businesses, and community services is an asset.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Comfortable with light physical tasks, such as lifting and setting up equipment.

The role of the Beachfront Ambassador is to be a representative for the Town of Wasaga Beach, providing information and assistance to visitors and residents at the Beachfront. Stationed at Beach Area 1, the Ambassador will be responsible for running the beachfront information booth during assigned days. This will include visitor assistance, handing out material such as guides and maps, and other duties as assigned. In addition, the Ambassador will also assist the Economic Development and Events team with various event set-up and take down, and assist the Economic Development team with various projects and initiatives.
