Machine Tender 3rd Shift

Report food safety problems to a supervisor or manager;

Maintain and operate support equipment related to filling operations.

This includes but is not limited to the bulk can forming machine, filler, lid descrambler, vision system, banding system, check weigher, coders, inverter, bundler, variegate system, and ingredient feeder.

Properly form bulk cans in such a manner as to supply bulk can filler at all times;

Add designated lids to lid descrambler on scround/quart lines and ensure proper operation to supply filler at all times;

Calculate usage rates and operate ingredient feeder and variegate following SOP’s to ensure proper type and quantities of ingredients and variegates are consistently added into ice cream;

Assist in operation of banding machines and change rolls as needed;
