Responsibilities

4-month Co-op position (Fall Term) as sensor characterization specialist.

The successful applicant will be responsible for characterizing and evaluating the performance of Teledyne's newest CMOS Image Sensors.

They will work with the Image Sensor Designers to learn how to operate the Sensors, and use electronics lab equipment and custom software to confirm proper internal functioning, as well as measure electrical and electro-optical performance, including such parameters are charge transfer efficiency, photon transfer curves, and electrical and optical crosstalk.

The applicant will take direction from and report results to Project Leaders and other senior team members.

In some circumstances, the applicant will also be tasked with investigating issues that arise at end customers, and suggesting operational changes to improve sensor performance.
