Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or a closely related field
5+ years of relevant environmental experience
Experience supporting National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) preparation, review, and inspection activities
Knowledge of Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations
Experience supporting Hazardous Waste (HAZWASTE) programs and conducting fuel tank inspections, including underground and aboveground storage tanks
Project management experience in an environmental compliance or planning context
Responsibilities
Maintain and administer an Environmental Planning Program supporting operations and compliance requirements
Prepare Categorical Exclusions (CATEXs), Records of Environmental Consideration, and support the review and preparation of NEPA Environmental Assessments (EAs) and Environmental Impact Statements (EISs)
Provide technical support for NEPA compliance by supplying site-specific information, coordinating with stakeholders, and participating in meetings
Conduct environmental studies and special projects, including site characterization, restoration activities, wetland delineations, and compliance demonstrations
Support natural resources programs, including required surveys, monitoring plans, protected species monitoring, wetlands activities, and ecosystem studies
