Requirements

High School Diploma

Requires a minimum of 2 years maintenance/technical experience within a plastic injection molding facility.

Requires a minimum of 2-year mechanical/electrical experience.

Requires a minimum of 3 years general preventative maintenance experience in medical injection molding industry.

Experienced knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice within the Medical or Food Industry.

Experience working in a fast paced operational environment with constant interaction with operators, technicians and equipment.

Responsibilities

The first line in trouble shooting and repair of plastic injection molding equipment.  In addition, this Technician will foster an environment of continuous improvement and team work.

Analyze and resolve root causes for ongoing quality issues as they relate to assembly, mold or molding processes including all other supporting technical processes

Communicate technical status updates to Supervisor Production/Head of Production Unit & Head of Maintenance

Provide production planning process based on the customer needs, machine assignment, press and mold availabilities

Build the technical strength of the team through hands on training
