The Apprentice Electrician, under the direction of Journeyman Electricians, is responsible for the installation, start-up, troubleshooting, commissioning and servicing of industrial / commercial electrical equipment and systems. This position will be responsible for following the directions of the Journeyman Electrician to complete electrical maintenance and repair work.

Observe, learn, and understand a wide range of skills and processes under the instruction of a skilled electrician.

Demonstrate these skills and processes as on-the-job training progresses by working independently or with others to complete assigned tasks.

Learn and understand the importance of safety within the workspace and across projects.

Learn about the various tools and materials required for electricians to complete tasks and projects.
