Requirements
3+ years of product management experience in B2B Saas,, ideally within Fintech, Payroll, or Tip Management.
Proven end-to-end product ownership, from discovery and PRD authoring through agile delivery and post-launch optimization, with a strong focus on quality and follow-through
A data-informed approach to decision-making, including defining success metrics such as KPIs and OKRs, validating hypotheses, and using product analytics to drive iteration
The ability to build alignment across cross-functional partners and leadership, managing stakeholder expectations and shipping cohesive solutions without direct authority
A user-centric mindset, grounded in customer interviews, research, and competitive analysis to turn real problems into simple, scalable product solutions
Compensation & Benefits
The base compensation range for this position is CAD $96,000 - CAD $144,000. This range reflects the full growth path for the role, from building core skills to accomplished performance, through to role mastery. We typically target the accomplished level when hiring externally. At this level, individuals bring relevant experience in the role, demonstrate strong job-related skills, operate with confidence and consistency, and are able to deliver impact with limited ramp-up while still having meaningful opportunities to grow.
Compensation at 7shifts is performance and growth-driven. As you develop your skills and expand your impact over time, your compensation grows with you. Your specific placement within this range is based on your job-related skills, knowledge, and experience, as well as our internal equity assessment. Challenge:
Responsibilities
Own the product strategy and roadmap for payroll and tips, aligned to company priorities and customer impact
Drive alignment across Engineering, Design, and Data from discovery through delivery
Make prioritization and tradeoff decisions across usability, regulatory risk, technical constraints, and business outcomes
Partner with Product Marketing to shape positioning, launches, and adoption strategies
Define success metrics, monitor performance, and use data and customer insight to continuously improve the product
Stay close to customers and the regulatory landscape, validating ideas through research, testing, and iteration
