Requirements

Update documents and maintain files/systems to be audit ready by being compliant with MTO/FMCSA regulations

Complete data entry into internal systems (TMW, ISAAC, EFS etc)

Respond to internal driver inquiries in person, by phone and electronically

Occasionally act as a coordinator for new drivers attending orientation

Complete licensing transactions for trucks and trailers with Service Ontario and IRP

Coordinate new trucks and trailers coming onto the fleet by occasionally acting as a key point of contact between internal teams, vendors, and owner operators

As part of the Safety & Compliance team, the Compliance Assistant is responsible for maintaining data and files to ensure all Company Drivers and Owner/Operators are following regulatory and legislative requirements.

The Compliance Assistant is responsible for assisting with driver inquiries regarding renewal of driver’s license, passports, Ontario medicals, fuel card issues, certificates of violations and dangerous goods cards. This role is also responsible for providing administrative support to the Safety and Compliance department.

Hours of Work:

Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm
