Product Engineer

5-7+ years of experience with software engineering background and a track record of building and shipping production systems end to end in ambiguous, fast-paced environments, including building the 0-to-1 prototype yourself, not just spec it for others.

Experience building with modern AI tooling – designing agents and prompting logic and running structured evaluations against real-world expectations.

Strong hands-on technical skills: proficient in Python and SQL, comfortable working with data pipelines, and building on cloud infrastructure (Azure).

Familiarity with data/ML platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, or similar.

Demonstrated ability to understand complex workflows and translate them into product, technology, and process solutions.

Strong analytical orientation, with ability to define success metrics, use data to prioritize, and measure adoption and impact.

We take into account an individual’s qualifications, skillset, and experience to determine final salary. The expected

base salary range for this position is $181K-235K + bonus + equity

. The actual offer will be at the company’s sole discretion and determined by relevant business considerations, including the final candidate’s qualifications, years of experience, skillset, and geographic location.

System Architecture & AI Agent Development

Partner with engineering resources to build a unified data and tooling layer on top of Habitat Health’s existing infrastructure that AI tools can be built and deployed on cleanly and efficiently

Design, build, test, and ship production-grade AI tools, copilots, agents, and automations embedded in day-to-day work, owning each solution end-to-end from data layer through to interface.

Run structured evaluations against operational and clinical expectations, and debug failure modes before they reach users.

Maintain and improve what you build – monitor tools in production, fix what breaks, and write documentation that lets people use them without technical support.
