Responsibilities

The Geotechnical Technician will perform a variety of tasks including inspection/oversight of field investigations pertaining to soil/rock/groundwater, performing computations and analyses, preparing various technical reports, and performing construction inspection and oversight.

Inspection of test boring drilling activities and classification of soil and rock samples retrieved during drilling operations.

Perform infiltration testing in soils.

Preparation of boring logs for various types of projects.

Assisting with development of laboratory testing programs.

Performing field reconnaissance.
