Two (2) years of human services related experience such as work assisting people and groups with economic disadvantages, employment, abuse and neglect, substance abuse, aging disabilities, prevention of health, cultural competencies, or housing services.

Responsibilities
The Clinical Services Specialist increases equitable access to quality of life supports and resources for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities by facilitating determinations and redeterminations.
These entryway services emphasize awareness, access, choice, and community inclusion for individuals seeking case management services.
The services provided by the Clinical Services Specialist are s;ef-directed, community and family inclusive, culturally and linguistically responsive, and support clients to make informed decisions based on their goals.
Conduct interview of applicants, review of statewide requests for eligibility, determination, clinical record review and consultation with licensed professionals (psychologists, social workers, medical doctors).
Complete comprehensive record review of all developmental, educational, mental health and medical records.
Document record review and provide clinical rationale for how an individual meets DSM5 diagnostic and ORA criteria for qualifying neurodevelopmental disorders.
