High School Diploma or equivalent.\u00A0 Additional training in a medical or call center environment

The Pathology Support Specialist is primarily responsible for providing administrative support to the Medical Director and staff pathologists with daily activities associated with case management, communication, scheduling, record and material retention.

Assesses caseload, prioritizes and distributes cases among the pathology staff

Prepares pending case load reports for pathologists as well as follow up

Follows-up on late/early morning global cases

Shift time: Tuesday-Saturday, 9:00am-5:30pm

Effectively track specimens for different tests at any given time

Checks

current cases and records for completeness and accuracy
