The Paint Technician is responsible for the set-up and operation of the paint booth system.

The employee must also monitor the process and quality of the product and make necessary corrections to the process to maintain a steady flow of quality products to the customer.

Inspect cylinder for visual defects.

Inspect painted units for runs and unpainted areas.

Operate nozzle type electrostatic painting equipment to spray positively charged paint particles onto negatively charged cylinders.

Move switches and dials to start flow current and to activate conveyor and paint spraying equipment.
