About the Company

Hillel at Dartmouth is a vibrant, student‑centered hub that enriches the lives of Jewish students of all backgrounds through warm community, rich Jewish learning, and a deep connection to Jewish life, culture, and Israel.

Every week, students gather at the Roth Center for Shabbat dinners, Jewish holiday celebrations, and everyday meals that turn food into an expression of community, tradition, and creativity.

Through student‑led initiatives and staff mentorship, Hillel at Dartmouth helps students shape their own Jewish journeys and create welcoming spaces for friends of all backgrounds.

Today, Hillel at Dartmouth regularly connects with nearly all of Dartmouth’s approximately 400 Jewish undergraduates, many of its 200 Jewish graduate students, and a diverse group of non‑Jewish students who join for meals, programs, and community.

The Roth Center for Jewish Life is located in the heart of the campus. The Roth Center offers the stunning Alperin/Kirsch Sanctuary, an open space that hosts dining, meetings, and religious services; the impressive Koreman Library; the fully functional Rauch Kitchen and stocked snack pantry; offices and classrooms; and two student lounges (Lappin and Rosen). The Upper Valley Jewish Community, a regional synagogue, is also housed in the Roth Center.
