Prior experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm systems in commercial and industrial settings or directly related experience
Solid understanding of fire alarm codes, standards, and regulations, including NFPA 72 (National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code) and relevant building and fire codes.

Responsibilities
The Fire Alarm Technician will perform installation, inspection, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and system checkout activities of fire alarm and critical life safety systems.
Installation of fire alarm systems — addressable and conventional
Inspection, testing, and service of existing systems
Commercial and multifamily new construction rough-in and trim
Troubleshooting and repair of malfunctioning systems
Documentation, panel programming, and as-built updates
