Responsibilities
Reporting to the Electrical Design Engineering Manager, this position is responsible for leading projects of varying complexity, reviewing and providing oversight of all projects built by the assigned design team, guiding and mentoring design engineers to reach their goals and assist with supporting the local production facility with any technical issues.
Review and redline drawings completed by other engineers.
Suggest solutions or alternate designs where applicable, ensuring packages are complete, consistent with electrical regulatory body standards, and that they meet the project requirements.
Provide onboarding and training for new engineering and support team members.
Provide insight, product solutions and reference projects to enable the success of the electrical design engineering team.
Provide training exercises for the electrical design engineering team.
