Requirements

3–5+ years of experience in technical sales, application engineering, mechanical field services, industrial maintenance, or a related technical role.

Strong understanding of mechanical systems used in power generation or heavy industrial facilities.

Experience preparing technical proposals, customer presentations, scopes of work, and cost estimates.

Strong knowledge of rotating equipment, pumps, valves, mechanical seals, heat exchangers, and related mechanical systems.

Ability to translate customer needs into customized technical service solutions.

Experience with turbines, pumps, valves, compressors, heat exchangers, rotating equipment, mechanical seals, or precision maintenance.

Estimated Starting Salary Range

The estimated starting salary range for this role is $118,000 - $140,000 annually less applicable withholdings and deductions, paid on a bi-weekly basis. The actual salary offered may vary based on relevant factors as determined in the Company’s discretion, which may include experience, qualifications, tenure, skill set, availability of qualified candidates, geographic location, certifications held, and other criteria deemed pertinent to the particular role.

Responsibilities

Mechanical Sales Engineer

is responsible for identifying, developing, and expanding business opportunities by delivering technical service solutions for mechanical maintenance, outage support, rotating equipment, pumps, valves, turbines, heat exchangers, and skilled labor services.

Working closely with customers across the nuclear industry and other power generation markets, this role serves as a trusted advisor by aligning customer maintenance needs with TNC Services' specialized capabilities.

During scheduled outage seasons, this role may also perform hands-on mechanical field service work, supporting installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities at customer sites.
