Requirements
PhD in a discipline related to biomedical MRI e.g. biomedical engineering, physics, chemistry / biochemistry, with a detailed knowledge of MR physics. Additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a doctoral qualification.
3 or more years of post-doctoral experience in the application of MRI to human neuroimaging research, ideally including fMRI applications.
Pulse Sequence and / or image reconstruction programming.
Demonstrated ability to train and support researchers in MRI.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to think independently and assess critically / resolve complex problems.
Compensation & Benefits
$110,000 + depending on qualifications

Responsibilities
Direct the MRI component of the BIC’s scientific and educational mission.
Provide the scientific and academic expertise to
guide the expansion of our technical capabilities by liaising with faculty and developing and implementing new MRI methods and services on the Center’s MRI systems.
Lead
the MRI team and oversee the management of the clinical and preclinical MR systems of the BIC, ensuring that each system is operating effectively and efficiently.
Coordinate the educational and training programs of the BIC regarding MR imaging and spectroscopy, including the development of curricula
