Sr. Steam Turbine Engineer

Seven to ten years of experience and knowledge of steam turbine operation, maintenance and repair, power plant engineering, business/financial and contractual matters

Ability to read, analyze and interpret procedures, regulations, blueprints, schematics and process and instrument diagrams

Capability of writing reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers, the general public and employees at all levels

The Sr Steam Turbine Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of major rotating equipment including steam turbines, cooling water pumps, and injection pumps.

This role provides technical leadership, oversees maintenance programs, and serves as the owner’s representative for mechanical projects.

Adhere to, support, and enforce all company safety and environmental rules, policies, and procedures

Responsible for the proper maintenance and repair of main steam turbines, cooling water pumps and injection pumps to include development of written job scopes and procedures to complete major inspections on turbines and generators

Identify spare parts and verify stock of critical parts

Coordinates the repair of turbine rotors and turbine parts
