Pay will be assigned by rank at a range of $100,000-$125,000. Pay is assigned by reviewing a combination of job-related factors that may include: internal/external pay equity, the salary structure/pay grade, or a candidate\u2019s qualifications/experience for the job. A wage range posted is not a guarantee of a specific wage and CCU reserves the right to make pay decisions based on economic and equity considerations. Responsibilities

The Dean of the School of Music provides leadership for the music department\u2019s programs, faculty, and students. Responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and quality of education students receive while actively teaching in the classroom. Will recruit and hire traditional evangelical Christian faculty who are able to integrate CCU\u2019s Statement of Faith & Religious Convictions and Strategic Priorities into the classroom.\u00A0

Ensures the department through its educational activities and programs contributes to CCU\u2019s mission (Christ-centered higher education transforming students to impact the world with grace and truth).\u00A0

Will develop relevant programs in both traditional and contemporary Christian music. Provides students with opportunities to serve in the Christian communities with a variety of music opportunities. Includes promoting CCU to prospective students and designed to help increase enrollment to allow CCU to expand it\u2019s reach with students for Kingdom works and increasing the reach of the gospel to others.\u00A0

In addition, responsible for other activities: committee/task force/teamwork, community development both within the CCU community and outside of it to enhance and advance exemplary academics, personal spiritual growth, and engagement with the world.\u00A0
