Requirements
Minimum Requirements
BS/BA Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Professional Engineer (PE) in Pennsylvania, Delaware, or New Jersey or ability to obtain within 1 year.
Experience designing low voltage and medium voltage electrical distribution systems and building services for water and wastewater facilities.
Experience designing lighting, fire alarm, telephone, security and grounding systems.

Responsibilities
AECOM is seeking a highly motivated Electrical Engineer to join our growing team in Philadelphia, PA
to support water and wastewater projects in the greater Philadelphia Area, the Northeast, and around the globe. We are looking for an electrical engineer with strong design and construction phase support skills to work with closely with our electrical team in our Chelmsford, Massachusetts design center on complex multidisciplinary projects. This position will provide a great opportunity to collaborate with some of AECOM’s foremost experts in water and wastewater engineering as well as electrical and I&C engineering.
The work will include:
Design low voltage and medium voltage electrical distribution systems and building services.
Perform electrical system designs including switchgears, switchboards, motor control centers, variable frequency drives, generators, transformers, distribution panels, and other electrical distribution systems components.
Perform design for lighting, fire alarm, telephone, security and grounding systems.
