Responsibilities
Auxilium Health (Hybrid), Oshawa ON
The role of the Reimbursement Specialist involves overseeing all aspects of patient enrollment into a Patient Support Program. Additionally, Reimbursement Specialist will perform a reimbursement navigation and coordinate services for patients who have been prescribed the medication by their doctor.
The Reimbursement Specialist's responsibilities include assisting physicians and patients with regards to drug coverage, following up on submissions related to obtaining coverage from insurers and ensuring timely access to prescribed treatments. The Reimbursement Specialist also provides ongoing support to patients through effective communication to ensure seamless access to the prescribed therapy.
Work with patients to remove barriers for access to the prescribed medication
Provide education to patients, HCP’s (Health Care Providers) and their staff regarding program services.
Respond to inquiries from patients, HCP’s (Health Care Providers) and their staff in a timely and appropriate manner
