Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) plus 3-5 years of related experience with scheduling in a manufacturing setting and experience with some type of MRP software.
Demonstrated sense of urgency and ability to handle fast-paced work environment.
Computer literate; proficient with Microsoft Windows, MS Office programs and applications. Mid to high level use in Excel with ability to create pivot tables and create formulas and graphs/charts. Experience in D365 or other Dynamics system preferred.
Time and priority management is a must.
Ability to work with a diverse group of people and collaborate effectively towards a common end goal

Responsibilities
Basic Duties and Responsibilities:
Manages people and processes that affect the integrity of the inventory and our system. Drives best practices that result in higher inventory turns, lower costs, fewer internal and supplier issues, and top-level customer service. Encourages teamwork between Supply Chain departments (Inventory Control, Shipping and Purchasing) and production, sales, accounting, and other MDO departments.
Use MRP, Excel and verbal communications to create and adjust weekly casting schedules for pipe shop (pipe and pole segments), and finishing as well as TR Flex, Zinc and 401, based on departmental capabilities, customer and hard stock requirements, and stocking level initiatives.
Track pipe that needs to go offline and communicate expectations to those offline areas
Lead the weekly scheduling meeting with production to ensure available resources and capacity Provide accurate backlogs for sales and management and be able to supply lead times on fast track or large quantity orders
Lead a monthly meeting with sales to discuss current and upcoming demand
